A little bit about me, Shilo Kherington….
I am a knowledge seeker, a dot-connector, an INFJ, a curious soul.
As I navigated the ups and downs of my spiritual awakening I have explored many rabbit holes trying to understand anything and everything related to spirituality and the deeper mysteries of the universe.
Now, as I continue to expand and evolve, my mission is to share what I have learned with the intention of inspiring and supporting like-minded souls.
The Beginning?
At the age of 15, I was faced with many challenges and difficulties and was searching for guidance and help. I knew deep down that there was a more profound meaning and purpose to life, but I was looking for some kind of confirmation.
By ‘coincidence’ I came across 2 books – “How to Heal Your Life” by Louise L. Hay and “The Celestine Prophecy” by James Redfield.
The principles taught by Louise L. Hay, such as thoughts creating your reality and using affirmations, had a profound impact on me. I applied them to my life with enthusiasm and created a more positive life experience for myself.
However, it was The Celestine Prophecy that changed my life. It introduced me to synchronicity, energy, and the meaning and purpose in life, among other valuable insights that formed the foundation of my spirituality.
Over the next 30 or so years, I explored spirituality as a casual interest. However, the key principles I had learned acted as my compass in life, helping me understand the flow of life and providing perspective in challenging times.
The Catalyst
But then I met my Twin Flame. As you may know, the twin flame connection is a very challenging, confusing, and confronting experience. To add to that, the purpose of the Twin Flame connection is to catalyze and accelerate your spiritual awakening, adding a whole other level of complexity.
“Overwhelming” is an understatement.
Without getting into the ins and outs and ups and downs, over the last few years I have navigated the depths of my spiritual awakening and am finally on an upward trajectory. I have consumed as much information as possible trying to understand everything related to my spiritual journey.
My Mission
As I continue to learn, what consistently fascinates me is the interconnected nature of spirituality. It seems to me that all belief systems are linked, whether through common themes, foundational texts, ideologies, or mutual influences.
My motivation for starting A Higher View was to explore and illuminate these connections between different belief systems, with the hope of discovering the foundational universal truth that underpins everything.
I’m not sure that I am any closer to achieving that goal but I am enjoying the journey and I hope you will too
